STATEMENT

IMS-MANAGEMENT POLICY OF HEBERGER GROUP/ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Active environmental protection is an integral part of our commitment to sustainability!

Environmental management is a component of our Integrated Management System (IMS) that addresses the operational and regulatory environmental concerns of Heberger Group.

It aims to ensure the sustainable environmental compatibility of our products, processes, and the behaviors of our employees.

Our environmental management, through the IMS, implements the directives set by the management regarding environmental protection. This is achieved by defining and continuously improving process descriptions that meet the corresponding requirements.

Environmental aspects include, for example, energy consumption, emissions, waste, or wastewater. Indirect factors, such as the lifespan of buildings and products, planning decisions, or the behavior of contractors or clients, can also have significant impacts.

Our goal is to consistently meet binding obligations and continuously improve our environmental performance by achieving the set environmental objectives within Heberger Group.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY OF MARKSTAHLER + BARTH (VON 1998)

Everyone talks about environmental protection - We take action!

In our company, the protection of the environment, consumers, and employees is highly valued. Alongside our goal of maintaining competitiveness, we prioritize our responsibility towards our employees and the sustainable management of our environment. Therefore, we strive for continuous improvement in environmental protection and occupational safety, going beyond legal requirements.

In addition to the guidelines of Heberger Group, we align ourselves with the following principles:

    1. The management of M+B bears the responsibility for environmental protection and occupational safety within our company. Through an appropriate management system, we ensure that our company adheres to its environmental policy and achieves set objectives.

    2. Environmental stewardship within the company is a shared responsibility of every employee. Therefore, we promote the competence and sense of responsibility of our employees through information, training, and motivation.

    3. In our production, facilities, and products, we aim to minimize environmental impact. This includes efficient use of materials and energy, as well as the reduction of emissions. Waste should be avoided, internally recycled, or directed for recycling.

    4. To develop proactive environmental protection within our company, we will assess and consider the environmental compatibility in advance when employing and processing new materials or selecting new processes.

    5. Our goal is to reduce environmental impacts to the extent economically feasible through the application of the best available technology.

    6. We take all necessary measures to prevent accidents that could lead to environmental and personal harm or minimize their impacts.

    7. To the best of our abilities, we encourage our suppliers and contractors to adhere to equivalent environmental guidelines.

    8. We aim to collaborate with authorities on the basis of mutual trust. We strive for open, objective dialogue with our customers and the public to foster better mutual understanding.

    9. The environmental relevance of our products is significantly influenced by the desires of our customers. Therefore, we aim to inform our clients about the environmental aspects of the desired products or materials already during the development phase. The use of environmentally benign materials, combined with high-quality and durable craftsmanship, should enable our customers to have a long product lifespan and environmentally friendly recycling after use.
